Hello!
I'm Sandra, a product designer working remotely from Berlin, Germany.
My work is rooted in curiosity, empathy and problem-solving. I collaborate with a diverse range of clients—some on a retainer leading their design teams, and others as a product designer, transforming ideas into experiences.
My background
Before design, I trained as a psychologist and facilitated workshops on domestic violence frameworks, working closely with both survivors and those seeking to change harmful behaviours. I also taught a lot of yoga, helping women reconnect with their bodies, build resilience and find empowerment through movement.
These experiences shape how I approach design— with a belief that the way we interact with products, systems and services impacts our sense of agency, wellbeing and connection.
The present
Today, I blend my background in psychology, research and design to turn ideas into cool, tangible experiences.
My strengths lie in discovery— breaking down complex user needs into easy to use solutions and championing data-driven decisions. I thrive on tackling difficult conversations, aligning teams around a shared vision, and driving collaboration.
What drives me
Creating inclusive designs to make technology accessible to as many people as possible. Simplifying complexity and using design as a tool to support people in meaningful ways.
When I am not at my desk, I am usually drawing, reading or watching bad reality TV. I take breaks from my sedentary activities by practicing ashtanga yoga, training jiu jitsu, vintage shopping and running after my son.
What I’m looking for
Lots of thinking, research and creative-problem solving. Opportunities to contribute and make an impact in the areas of healthcare, femtech and development issues.
